This months picture shows the Greek ship EL INCA heading for the breakers at Britton Ferry on the 23rd June 1978, towed by the Swansea based tug Alexandra, she had arrived on the 3rd September 1977 with a cargo of cotton cake

Vessels arriving and sailing from Sharpness can be seen from the picnic area at Sharpness overlooking the Severn and next to the entrance to the dock.
